The Swiss cellist studied with the late Heinrich Schiff and has gone on to enjoy a busy career both as a soloist and a chamber musician: here he collaborates with a leading duo pianist. Their programme consists of a work by Prokofiev premièred by Mstislav Rostropovich and Sviatoslav Richter in 1950 and a late work by Chopin that is one of his largest compositions.
