Ed Sheeran – 2step ft Antytila

Ed Sheeran has released a new version of his song '2Step' with a new verse from the Ukrainian band Antytila. They also released an official music video that stars the band and was also directed and produced by them. Royalties earned from streams of the official music video on YouTube will be donated to Music Saves UA, which is a non-profit fundraising project created by the Ukrainian Association of Music Events to provide immediate humanitarian help to those struggling in Ukraine.

According to NME, Antytila reached out to Sheeran earlier this year and asked if they could perform remotely at the "Concert For Ukraine." However, organizers declined saying the event is "only able to focus on the humanitarian situation." Sheeran did promise he was going to check out the band's music.

Britain’s nightmare before Christmas

A divided country faces an election that will tear it still further apart

A imagem pode conter: texto

British voters keep being called to the polls—and each time the options before them are worse. Labour and the Conservatives, once parties of the centre-left and -right, have steadily grown further apart in the three elections of the past four years. Next week voters face their starkest choice yet, between Boris Johnson, whose Tories promise a hard Brexit, and Jeremy Corbyn, whose Labour Party plans to “rewrite the rules of the economy” along radical socialist lines. Mr Johnson runs the most unpopular new government on record; Mr Corbyn is the most unpopular leader of the opposition. On Friday the 13th, unlucky Britons will wake to find one of these horrors in charge.
At the last election, two years and a political era ago, we regretted the drift to the extremes. Today’s manifestos go a lot further. In 2017 Labour was on the left of the European mainstream. Today it would seize 10% of large firms’ equity, to be held in funds paying out mostly to the exchequer rather than to the workers who are meant to be the beneficiaries. It would phase in a four-day week, supposedly with no loss of pay. The list of industries to be nationalised seems only to grow. Drug patents could be forcibly licensed. The bill for a rapid increase in spending would fall on the rich and companies, whose tax burden would go from the lowest in the g7 to the highest. It is an attempt to deal with 21st-century problems using policies that failed in the 20th.

What Cancel Culture Looked Like in the Middle Ages | NYT Opinion

The internet didn't invent the angry mob. In the satirical Video Op-Ed above, cancel culture is reimagined with the help of a medieval mob. Pray thee, the video begs, is there any room left for transgression? These days, it seems like everyone’s being canceled — from celebrities like Louis C.K. and Kanye West to ordinary high-schoolers. Some cancellations are temporary (we’re looking at you, Aziz Ansari). Some seem permanent (has anyone even seen R. Kelly?). But all are very public. And rarely is an apology good enough. Even more rare: redemption. Last month, former President Barack Obama urged young people to leave cancel culture behind. “This idea of purity and you’re never compromised and you’re always politically ‘woke’ and all that stuff” he said, “you should get over that quickly.” A mob quickly rose to the defense of cancel culture, sprinkled with a bit of “O.K. Boomer” judgment. For a brief moment, we wondered: Could even President Obama be canceled?
