Formed at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2017, the group (Ionel Manciu violin; Leo Popplewell cello; Dominic Degavino piano) has already won a number of prizes – including the 2019 Royal Philharmonic Society Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award – and is now a member of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme; it introduces a work by an increasingly prominent English cellist, conductor and composer.
