Highly regarded on the international scene, the ensemble (Alex Redington violin; Ying Xue violin; Hélène Clément viola; John Myerscough cello) enjoys a close relationship with the Australian composer whose third string quartet, Hidden Agendas, was written for and premièred by them in 2019; also a leading viola player, Dean joins them for Beethoven’s early quintet of 1801.
