Tuba Skinny - Jazz aux Sources 2018

Le Festival de Swing à Danser, "Jazz aux Sources a 20 ans", Châtel-Guyon, May 18 - 21, 2018, was blessed in many ways. The weather couldn't have been better, blue skies, sun, still not too hot. People gathered in great numbers to enjoy performances of all kinds, as well as dancing in the streets and floors or attending dinners to live music. One band, Le Festival de Swing à Danser from New Orleans, touring Europe, graced this charming little, old spa town of Châtel-Guyon, some 110 miles west of Lyon, France, with a 3-day stop-over. There must be ways for everyone who loves this music to repay Tuba Skinny for all the joy they shower us with. Either get their CDs and vinyls, or even better, add a pilgrimage to the cradle of Jazz, New Orleans, not necessarily during French Quater Festival. Believe this is quite an accurate account of Tuba Skinny's 2nd day's performance at Parc Thermal, in the eyes, ears and mind of one in the audience, in one-go and unedited. Many Thanks to TS for letting us stay up-front and extremely close, while documenting this once in a lifetime event.
