Presented by the French Baroque specialist ensemble formed by four accomplished musicians in 2013, the programme highlights the gifted Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre (1665-1729), whose contribution to the musical life of the court of Louis XIV was exceptional and who composed in many of the forms available in her day to the admiration of her contemporaries.
