Ivan Lins & Band | Jazz San Javier 2017

With a forty-seven year artistic career, forty-six recorded albums, and compositions only equaled by Antonio Carlos Jobim; Ivan Lins is the most admired Brazilian musician by the American Jazz musicians and one of the most beloved Brazilians in Jazz San Javier, where he has performed in three previous editions of the festival. His songs have been covered by likes of George Benson, Sarah Vaughan, Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Diana Krall, Lee Ritenour, Manhattan Transfer, Carmen McRae and Ella Fitzgerald, among many others. In 2012 he recorded his album in Spanish with collaborations from Alejandro Sanz, Jorge Drexler, Pedro Guerra, Antonio Serrano and others. In 2012 he also recorded an album of previously unpublished songs in Brazil, Amoragio and in 2015 his newest album America-Brasil, more than enough reasons to invite him one again to Jazz San Javier to enjoy the music and the company of this fantastic artist.    Jazz San Javier 2017
